Grandpa's Tractor

Patrick found a little wooden tractor block in a little farm set while we were up at visiting Grandpa and Grandma Sorrels.  Patrick showed the block proudly to Grandma and she asked Patrick if he wanted to see Grandpa's tractor.

Getty up Rocking Horse

Patrick really enjoys riding toys. He gets to play with all sorts of them at daycare and he makes due with the toys he has at home.  He's figured out how to get his blue rocking horse moving with making it do little jumps while he sits on it.

Toy Building

Uncle Kenny and Uncle David ordered Patrick a slide play set for his Birthday.  When it arrived, the box was so big it wouldn't fit in the house, so Grandpa and Uncle Kenny not only delivered it early, but also put it together under Patrick's supervision.

Slides at Silver Dollar City

To finish off the day, Patrick decided to play on the slides.  He even got Uncle Kenny to slide with him.

Silver Dollar City Ball Complex

Silver Dollar City has a huge multi level complex for playing with balls.  There are hoses to suck up balls, conveyor belts that lift balls up to the highest levels, cannons to shoot balls, and so much more.

Silver Dollar City Water Cannons

Even with all the rain and wet through out the day, Patrick still had a great time playing with the water cannons in the play area.  He's not big enough to push the button and swing the cannon around, so Uncle Kenny helped out.

Silver Dollar City

We took a little trip out to Silver Dollar City the other weekend.  It was a wet, rainy weekend of fun and good company.  The clouds opened up right after we arrived, so it was a scramble to the gift shop to wait for the rain to lighten up a bit while we waited for the park to totally open.  Grandpa pick up a little poncho for Patrick to wear in the rain and he seemed to really enjoy wearing it.

A bit wet but ready to play in the rain.
Patrick has recently really gotten into trains and Silver Dollar City has a steam train that goes around the park.  It was our first stop once the park opened.  He really enjoyed the ride and then we moved on to other activities.  Patrick ended up taking a nap during one of the shows and after he woke up, he was ready for another train ride, so off to the train we went again.  About half way through the ride, there is a train hold up show that goes on.  On the second ride, Patrick was almost throwing his coin at the robber.

Here's my coin, let the Cho-cho go
