Snow Day!

We've gotten a good deal of snow already this year.  Patrick loves going outside to play in it, or even help Dad clean the walk ways.

New Clothes from Great Grandma

Great Grandma sent Patrick some clothes she made up for him.  They fit him pretty well, and proved to be wonderful to help layer him when going outside to play in the snow.  Which we have done, a lot.

More Painting

We picked up a small ornament set for Patrick to paint. He was very serious about doing it.  We have also been finger painting a couple evenings each week currently.  Patrick has been loving it and ends each finger painting by painting himself before bath time.

Thanksgiving at the "Farm"

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at Grandpa and Grandma Sorrels's house.  Patrick played hard all day, everyday.

Dad pulled out his winter holiday Legos the other evening to start setting them up.  Patrick had a good time playing with the figures and cars without destroying them to much, and letting Dad know when something did come apart.

Discovery Room!

The Discovery Room is great for kids.  They can touch a wide variety of things, play with toys, watch fish, turtles, frogs, and salamanders, and even play in the dirt. We were lucky and were in the Discovery Room during feeding time for the live animals.

It had been awhile since we last took a trip to the museum, so we loaded up and headed out.  Patrick really enjoyed the trip, even if a couple of things scared him.

Patrick always likes playing with his Uncle Kenny. Since Kenny got his own house, Patrick ask quite often, especially when we get in the car "Kenny's house?" wanting to know if we are going to Kenny's house. He also likes playing at the playground near Kenny's house.

Finger Painting

We picked up some finger paints for Patrick to play with and he's had a really good time so far each time we've pulled them out.  Patrick starts out being very particular with where he puts the colors and ends with smearing the colors still wet all together.

Pumpkin Baking

Momma picked up a baking pumpkin the other day at the store as Patrick has really taken to pumpkins from his teachers at daycare going over harvest/Halloween items.  Patrick had a good time with helping to dig out the seeds after Momma cut the pumpkin in two. The pumpkin was baked and then eventually used to make a pie.
