Sledding

We received enough snow for it to build up on the ground a little bit and some of it stayed around long enough to get played in. Patrick loved stomping in it, spinning in circles and falling down, and then Dad had a great idea of pushing Patrick when he got onto his rocking horse...  Needless to say, Dad wore out before Patrick was done sledding, so Mom took over.

Lightsaber duel

Patrick loves his duels, with swords, with lightsabers, with anything that can be swung.  After arming Uncle Kenny and himself, Patrick climbed up the step stool, and then the duel proceeded.

And they turn off after a big hit.

Yarn

Patrick found one of Momma's bags of yarn in the hobby room and then quickly had the yarn all over the place.  It didn't take Momma to long to get it all balled back up when Patrick took a nap.

Painting

Dad was working on finishing up the second work table for the hobby room, when Patrick walked in and noticed what was going on.  Patrick quickly found the brush he's been playing with and proceeded to try and help Dad paint.  Patrick never did get to dip his brush into the paint can, but he did manage to find enough wet paint where Dad had already painted to get it all over his hands.

Looks like fun.

I'll get this area Dad.

Next day, This looks like it needs another coat.

Racing on the Wii

Patrick discovered the Wii and the game Mario Kart with Mom's help. When he now wants to race, Patrick will bring us one of the Wii remotes or even sit down with one himself and pretend to use it to drive.  We've tried a few times to actually let him play the game and it's just easier to hand him a remote and then for us to play the game while he watches and pushes buttons.

Clean up

After making a mess with the wrapping paper from Uncle David's gifts, Patrick wanted to clean up.  So after running to get a trash bag for him, Patrick proceeded to stuff the torn paper into it.  Patrick will sometimes clean on his own like this, but most of the time, he's trying to help you as you clean up something.

Uncle's Gifts

Last month was Uncle David's birthday.  After gifts were put out, Patrick headed right for them and started pulling bows off.  He then quickly proceeded to unwrapping the gifts, while Uncle David watched.

Fashion

We had a birthday dinner to go to for one of our friends, it was at a nice restaurant, so we all dressed up a little. Patrick decided that he needed some extra pieces for his outfit.  Necklace, bracelet, summer hat, and his lawnmower, was what it took to complete it.  We did manage to get him to leave the mower at home, but the rest was worn until we were at the restaurant and waiting to be seated.

Building with Blocks

Patrick has loved playing with blocks for a long time, by knocking them down.  He's now starting to stack them up, so he can knock them down.

Dishes

Patrick loves using the step stool in the kitchen.  Dad pulled it out and put it up at the sink so he could stand while we washed his hands.  We quickly moved on to something else, but before Dad could put the step stool up again, Patrick was back at the sink playing with the scrub brushes.
