Going to the Zoo

It's been a busy month.  We went to the zoo for Momma's birthday at the beginning of the month. We we're there with Grandpa and Grandma Stull and Uncle Kenny and Uncle David. We all had a really good time.  Patrick was still talking about it several days after we went. He wanted to go again.

Up really high to see the elephants. He was a little scared at first,
but later in the week when he was talking about the Zoo
he was saying that he went Up and Up and he wasn't scared.

Easter: Hunting Rabbits

Grandma Stull found a bunny game for Patrick for Easter.  She hid the bunnies in eggs with various other treats and Uncle Kenny placed the eggs around for Patrick to hunt down and find.

Coloring Eggs

Mom decided that Patrick would have fun coloring eggs this year. Patrick helped mix up the dye which was 2 packages of Kool-Aid and 2 Tablespoons of water per color. Just mix well and then spoon the differnt colors on top of the eggs for a tie-dye effect. Patrick had fun spooning the different colors on the eggs and even Mommy and Daddy got into the fun. Patrick wanted to make sure that all the white was gone. We all had dye on us in the end.

The mower wasn't the only thing Patrick decided to pick up and play with after Dad stopped using it. Patrick picked up the camera after Dad put it down and managed to have a few good pictures where the lens wasn't covered by fingers.  He decided to take pictures of dirt which he was calling rocks.

Dad left the mower sitting while he went off to do something else, so Patrick decided to lend Dad a hand.  Patrick had a fun time cutting the grass/weeds, but he doesn't push the mower in a straight line.

Planting

We spent the other evening outside doing some yard work and planting some new flowers.  Patrick was a big helper and made sure to get into everything.

Medieval Fair 2014

We went to the Norman Medieval Fair last Saturday.  Patrick's favorite part of the fair, was the giant wooden playground that's always at the park. It was difficult to get him away from it to go through the fair.  We did get him away from the playground to look at the animals and he even got a chance to go on one of the rides and picked out a zebu, a cow animal.  Patrick had Uncle Kenny to walk next to him and did really well with the ride. After wards he ran off jumping up and down and skipping saying "I did it, I did it".
