Mighty Little Helper

We started off the weekend with some yard work and other outside chores. Patrick wanted to wear his backpack while outside and he spent his time running between helping Dad with the yard and Mom with cleaning out the cars.  When Dad was done with the yard work, he took off his gloves and put them down.  Patrick found them and put them on and was soon mimicking Dad cleaning up. After we were all finished, it was time to go inside to relax and cool off.

Dinner Help

We had some help the other evening making dinner.  Patrick and Uncle Kenny mixed up the waffle batter, while Dad cooked the bacon and Mom supervised everyone.

Racing with Uncle Kenny

Patrick found a stuffed toy of a character named Lugi, who features in a game Patrick enjoys "playing".  Patrick holds a remote and watches the TV while someone else plays.  Once he found Lugi, Patrick just had to play and Uncle Kenny got to play with him.

Boardgames

Patrick's new favorite boardgame is a lego one, with sheep and doggies.  After a nap time, that Uncle Kenny, Mom and Dad spent playing a boardgame, Patrick had to join in too playing the sheep game with Ho Ho the monkey.

Swordplay & Bubbles

Dad pulled out the bubbles while Patrick was running around the house with his swords.  This started a long sword fight against the bubbles that had Patrick running all over the room.

After cake there were gifts to unwrap.  Patrick was really excited to help. He took the gifts to Dad and even helped to unwrap them.

Dad's Birthday

Dad had a birthday recently, so after dinner there was cake.  Most of the time anymore, Patrick eats the icing off his piece of cake and then says he's done.
