Going Home

It was really fun to watch Patrick at the airport. He was so friendly with everyone, smiling and waving.
We also got a lot of comments from people what a good baby he was. I really like the picture of Patrick smiling in the camera, while Uncle Kenny looks exhausted in the background. Patrick is always going and does wear all of us out, but he is so much fun.

Park

When we took Patrick to the park there were a lot of new things to see and do. He really enjoyed going through the tunnel, he wasn't to sure about the swing though. I worked him up to it, first he swung with Mommy on the tire swing and then the regular swing. I then put him in a swing by himself. He white knuckled it, but saw that the girl next to him was enjoying it so decided that it couldn't be so bad.
After swinging I put him down on the ground so that he could explore the different textures in the playground. Always so much to explore.

Cindy's House

While at Cindy's house Patrick had fun playing with everyone and exploring new things. He really liked it when Monique got out her French horn and was playing it. He loves listening to music.
He also discovered the stairs and spent a long time going up and down them. He could climb up them pretty fast, the going down was harder as he wanted to go down head first.

Hi Grandpa, I'm having fun.

Next steps

Well after about a month and a half Patrick is finally starting to attempted to walk. He took a few steps for Grandma on Sunday. Then when I picked him up from daycare yesterday he took a couple more steps and last night at home he tried a few more times with our encouragement. He's doing really good and will be walking and running before we know it.

He is also teething again. The top, two, front teeth are starting to pop out. I'm glad, because it will be easier for him to chew food with more teeth.

Swimming

There was a swimming pool and the hotel we stayed at in Minnesota. This was Patrick's first time to swim in a pool. He wasn't to sure about it at first and clung very tightly to me, but after he got used to it he had fun splashing around and floating in the water.

Fun with Monique

This is Patrick at the Zoo with Monique. He had fun playing with her. I think she is surprised at how fast he is. He's very curious and loves touching faces. You have to be carefully though as he can pinch and scratch. He doesn't mean anything by it, he's just playing and exploring.

Patrick had a good time with everyone while we were in MN. Of course I'm sure he thought everyone was there for him, which of course the were.

Zoo

This was Patrick first trip at the zoo. I'm not sure if he had more fun looking at the people or animals.

He did really liked the different kinds of plants that he got to see and touch though. 

There was a kids area that we we're in that had demonstration on rain. Patrick had fun splashing in that and wanted to crawl in. There was also a tunnel in there that he crawled through.

After all that he was tired and fell asleep before we got to the car.
