Exploring

Patrick's getting really good at using his walker to explore.  This past weekend we went to Grandpa and Grandma Sorrels house and Patrick got to explore the house using his walker.  He only vaguely steers currently, so someone gets to follow him around and make sure he can go forward.  Also his backing up, usually ended up with Patrick on his back and the walker sitting over him.

Patrick also started following the beagles around the house.  I'm happy Patrick hasn't decided to follow them out the dog door yet.

Hide and Seek

Patrick like looking for his favorite toys in the room. One of his favorite toys right now are called Topzy Tumblers. That's what he is playing with on the floor. They remind me of big jumping beans. He likes to shake them, to make them click.

Second tooth

Well Patrick's second tooth finally popped through. He did sleep better than he has the last few nights and I finally felt like I got some rest last night. I know we will only get a short relief before more teeth start are coming through.

Play

Patrick loves playing with his Aunt Susie. He was going up to her this weekend and giving her cuddles and kisses.

Patrick love being tickled too, a lot of times he will come up to us and start giggling. He's asking us to play and tickle him. We also chase each other around the house and play peek a boo around furniture. He thinks it's all very funny.

Bubble and other messy fun

I decided to get Patrick some bubbles this weekend. He had fun trying to figure out what they were and popping them. 

Patrick is also being a really good eater. He likes to try a lot of new foods. So far he hasn't rejected anything that we have fed him. He especially likes eating off our plates and drinking out of our cups.

Friday

Me and Patrick stayed home Friday. Patrick had, had a rough night and I thought he might have been sick. Once we got up and moving though, he was active and ready to go. I'm now thinking that his second tooth that is coming in now is giving him more problems than his first tooth is. I'm still waiting for the second tooth to come in, hopefully it will pop up today and stop bothering him.

We had fun playing and learning how to walk on Friday. Patrick isn't walking on his own yet, but he is having fun practicing with his walker. We also went to visit Grandpa Stull at his work and say hi to everyone there.

Snow!

It took most of the winter, but we finally got a bit of snow.  Momma had a chance to bundle up Patrick and get him out in the snow while it was still around.  Poor Patrick had the hardest time trying to move around in his little snow suit.
