Sunday at the Stulls (pt 1)

Sunday's visit started off with meeting Grandpa & Grandma at Church, so that Grandpa could show off his cute grandson. We stayed a bit and let Patrick play with the other kids for Children's Church. After all that excitement, Patrick napped again on the way to the house. Once there, he sleepily watched his Uncles while they cooked in the kitchen.

Tooth

Patrick got his first tooth yesterday. I noticed it after I picked him up from daycare.
He just kept grinning and grinning at me, like he was proud of something.  I thought I saw something, so I looked closer in his mouth and there was a little tooth poking out. It on the bottom, in the front of his mouth.
I think he is trying to figure out what's new in his mouth, because he keeps feeling it with his fingers and he is holding his mouth different.
Patrick is 8 months old now, I'm glad he waited to have his first tooth til now. We've been told since he's been about 4 months old, by different people that they thought he was teething.

Beagles

Poor Beagles, Patrick being mobile means they don't get as much peace and quite as they once did when we came for a visit.  The beagles and Patrick get along great. They put up with him for a little bit when he comes over to pet them. And, he squints and squeaks in delight when ever the beagles get close to him.

Momma's Green Tea

Patrick is into tasting everything, anything, and if we have it in our hands; that's even better. This weekend Ginger tried to enjoy a mug of Green tea, but Patrick had to have a taste. He proved to be pretty good about sucking up the tea into his mouth and ended up with only a bit on himself.  Of course once he noticed Daddy with the camera, he had to try posing and drinking at the same time.

This past weekend we had the chance to spend some time with the Sorrels family out near Cushing, OK. There wasn't any work planned so it was mainly a weekend of pass the Patrick.

Patrick has quickly adopted the coffee table and the area around it as his play place.

He loves standing at it and playing with what ever toys he can find or what ever is handy to turn into a toy.

Bath time with Bubbles

Ever since Patrick started crawling, he's enjoyed disappearing to the bathroom. At bath time, all you have to do is get his attention and then run off into the bathroom and he'll follow.  Well, now Patrick is pulling up on things, including the tube while the water if running and filling the tube. We've also started giving him bubble baths every so often.  So far he's enjoyed splashing the bubble and trying to taste them. And, of course the parents just have to help Patrick play with the bubbles.
